About the Artist - Inspiration

The ladies you see here are woman who have inspired my love for jewellery and all things pretty for as long as I can remember. They are also the meaning behind the name, Ingrini.

These photos speak timelessness - I mean, just look at gran Doreen's hair-do on the beach, ouma Chrissie's graceful style and my mom Ingrid's perfectly put together nursing work outfit - all. pure. class.

Mom Ingrid is - let me start off like this - would you believe me if I told you that the sweet smiling nurse you see above also parachuted 11 static line jumps!? YES! That's my mom 😎 A feisty woman of strength, determination and style, but also the person who taught me everything about morals, manners and values - life lessons I will carry with me forever.

Gran Doreen was glamorous and sparkled at all times - a lady who loved dancing, traveling, weekly hair and nail appointments, cocktails... note to self - still need to try a Singapore Sling... and who never left home without putting lipstick on first.

Ouma Chrissie was warm and full of love, a lady of subtle pearls and petite jewellery that would compliment her beauty naturally, and not be in the way when she spent time working in her garden, as well as charity work in the gardens of Lebone Village for children with aids (Bloemfontein, South Africa).

These three woman have had so much influence in my life, all teaching me everything I needed to know about having your own personal style and to always be true to yourself. While my grandmothers are not with us today, all three had to be part of my journey every step of the way and always close to my heart β€οΈπŸ’–πŸ’—
